Like a lot of people, I take public transit to get around. I never had a license and even if I did, I couldn't afford a car. I have a lot of time on my hands when it comes to transit.
I wait for the bus, I sit on the bus, I wait for another bus. Lots of time to observe many things on transit. Are there problems with public transit in Mississauga? You bet there are. Problems with the way it's run, the drivers and the passengers.
Now, not all is doom and gloom. I see a lot of good things. Drivers doing a great job and going out of there way, passengers helping other passengers even small things that normally we take for granted.
Why blog about something as mundane as transit? Well sometimes I just want to get it out there. The good, the bad and the ugly. I've emailed transit many times and honestly, nothing ever changes. So I can at least say my piece here.
